Her ministry skills are combined with her hypnotherapy practice, where she has been teaching workshops and practicing meditation, guided imagery and hypnosis for the past 15 years.

She has a Master of Arts in Special Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University. She is certified as a Hypnotherapist through the National Guild of Hypnotists.
